Hometown:  Forest Hill, Maryland

Age: 22

Trent has been very successful in racing but in other parts of life as well. Trent played local baseball since 2005 and was selected to be on the 2010 All Star Team. Trent also competed on high level on his bowling team in Maryland where he moved up to play on Doug’s team. In 2010, when his racing dream took him traveling from home to North Carolina on a more frequent basis, he had to cut team sports because he did not think it was fair not to be able to uphold his part of the team due to travel for racing. Trent has been very successful in the classroom as well. Trent graduated in 2017, a year and a half earlier than his classmates and was enrolled with the Abbington Hill School, which is an online homeschooling program for athletes who travel a lot.

After the first year running at Dominion Raceway in 2016,  Trent decided he wanted to step out of the car and focus fully on his baseball career. He played on a couple semi-pro leagues from 2017 until COVID hit that sport hard in 2020. Trent ran a few races during these years but decided in 2021 he wanted to step back into a car full season. He will running at Dominion Raceway in Thornburg, Virginia and a couple other tracks this year.

2021- Trent ran at Dominion Raceway, Southern National, Florence Motor Speedway and also the iconic Martinsville Speedway.

2022 - Trent will be running at Dominion Raceway and also other various tracks. He will be returning to Martinsville Speedway again in September.

2020 - COVID hit the world and baseball like so many other sports were put on hold for the year. Trent did come to the track and worked with the crew in the pits for a couple of his brother Doug's races at Dominion.

2019 - Trent raced a few select races at Dominion Raceway and had 1 top 5 place and 3 top 10's after being out of the car for 2 years.

2017-2018 -Trent continued his baseball journey.

Nascar Whelen All American Series – Hickory North Carolina
Season Opener at Hickory Motor Speedway Limited Late Model Division
3/8/14 – Took his 1st Pole in Limited Late Model in his 1st start, finished 8th in race. Trent ran a Limited Late Model for the full season with J&J Motorsports at Hickory Motor Speedway in Hickory, North Carolina. Trent ran well all season and missed the championship by 14 points at season’s end. Not too bad for his first year running a regular big stock car. Trent was named Rookie of The Year in his class for his successful season this year. He raced well in that class and finished as high as 2nd a few races but his first Limited Late Model win eluded him at season’s end.

⦁    11/5/14 – Trent’s last race for the season proved to be the best. The team traveled to Myrtle Beach Speedway and it proved to be an exciting weekend. Saturday night was definitely a career high as Trent first captured the pole out of the 25 cars in the SELLM Challenger Race. Trent led every lap in the 50 laps feature and came across the checkers for his first Limited Late Model win to end the 2014 racing season on a high note.
